The Green Rocket Cafe – Review

June 30, 2016The Green Rocket Cafe – Review

A couple of months ago, my good friend Olivia and I, took a girly weekend break to Bath. It was a jam-packed Bank Holiday weekend. We planned to take in the sights, exploring The Roman Baths, The Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey and The Assembly Rooms. We were also super-excited spend an evening at the famous Thermae Bath Spa, with it’s natural thermal mineral waters, roof-top pool and stunning panoramic views over the city.

For those of you who follow me on social media, you may have seen that I attended Good Roots Festival in London a couple of weeks back with the lovely Emma. Judging by my insane amounts of Instagram posts, you can probably tell that I had the best day out.

Wild Thyme – Review

Today I’m bringing you a little write-up of one of my favourite places to eat in the city!! Wild Thyme is a vegan and vegetarian cafe nestled right here in the heart of Norwich. It’s located upstairs above Rainbow Wholefoods, and just so happens to be less than a 2 minute walk away from my workplace!

Tea Blending Workshop @ Bluebird Tea Co.

September 27, 2015Tea Blending Workshop @ Bluebird Tea Co.

As soon as I stumbled across Bluebird Tea Co. a few months ago, I fell hopelessly in love. I was browsing for some loose leaf tea online, hoping to buy some for my mum as a birthday gift. Within seconds of landing on their site, I knew I had come to the right place. Bluebird had so many unusual and quirky looking blends on offer, I was completely spoilt for choice.

Filmore and Union Review

May 9, 2015Filmore and Union Review

Finding somewhere to eat in an unfamiliar city can feel like a daunting task for those of us suffering with food allergies, intolerances or just wanting to eat clean. Especially when you don’t want to revisit the generic gluten-free menus from the usual suspect big-name chains. I don’t know about you, but when I take a trip to a new city, I want to check out unique independents or local chains, places I wouldn’t be able to find in my local hometown. Sadly that’s become a real challenge when travelling, and extensive planning and research needs to be done. Before a trip to York with my partner, I apprehensively started googling places I could eat. Quite quickly I realised, I need not have worried… I found Filmore and Union.
